Great Chapters: Genesis 1

“In the beginning…”.

What we understand about the beginning of the universe will determine our view of who God is and what is man’s purpose in life. Some say there is no God and that life happened by chance. Genesis 1 tells another story.

What does Genesis 1 teach about God?

What was the condition of the earth prior to God saying let there be light?

What does Isaiah 45:18 say about the design God had in mind when He created the earth?

What does Genesis 1 teach about man?

What does Romans 1:20-21 say about creation that reinforces what we ought to believe about who God is and man’s purpose in life?

Answer and discuss these questions using the comments section below and then join us Wednesday at 7 on Facebook Live and Zoom when we discuss Genesis 1.
